This week, I’m excited to share a great 10-minute conversation with Radius AI Co-founder Jeff Cox. In it he shares how he (and his crazy good team) have turned his startup idea into a billion-dollar company. I have been a friend of Jeff’s and an investor in Radius AI for a while now, and have watched the company grow from an idea to the leading AI software provider for convenience stores.
I learned some great tips on how to run a startup successfully:
— You need 3 things to create a successful startup: A great idea, an amazing team and the right timing.
— Being the founder does not mean you make the most money – Jeff went a year and a half without making any money. He sacrificed his salary for his teammates.
— Honesty is always the best policy. Always give constructive criticism to your employees – but not destructive criticism.
We cover a lot more in the episode below. It’s not every day you get to hear from someone who is making it happen right now.
