Over the last year, we have all had to adjust our thinking. Personally, I’ve spent quite a bit of time thinking about how I could better insulate me, my family, my team at Coppola Cheney and my companies from the scary times created by the pandemic. I settled on the below thoughts and created the graphic I am sharing with you.

Step one—Secure. We need everyone to feel as safe as possible. While I have financial security, many don’t, so we made it a priority to ensure our circle had financial security.  And not to preach but we all should learn from this crisis, to not let that kind of insecurity happen again.  Now is the time to get going on security.

Step two-Protect.  I circled the wagon on our clients, got to prospects and our vendors to make sure everyone was surviving.  We have strengthened and deepened our relationships through this process.

Step three—Thrive. Of course, there is still opportunity in a crisis. Once we secured and protected, we focused on coming out of this by thriving.  One key area is the strength, depth, and quality of our team. This is the finest team I have had the pleasure to work with in my career.  I am incredibly proud to type that.
